Also, she listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos as well as opera and other dramatic kinds. The mother of her child taught her to sing. She began singing through Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when his name was known as a famous Mexican opera tenor. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. While a young student and professional, she sang with several chamber groups and opera choruses from Guadalajara and Mexico City. Following her move into America in the year 2000, she joined a chorus of United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current residence in the southern part of California. The group she is in currently part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo in classic Latin American music at private occasions. She's involved in numerous local initiatives, both as performer and teacher, because she is passionate about music and art. Ana has been an ex-member of Community Chorus of Redlands as along with the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege being able communicate with other people her love of traditional Latin American music. She is hoping that it will encourage younger generations to help keep the traditional music alive.
